The product has an active substance content of approximately 7% and reduces the absorption of rainwater, helping to protect the facade against driving rain and penetrating moisture.

The water-based formulation based on silane and siloxane is solvent-free and PFAS-free. At the same time, the treated surface remains vapour-permeable.

Consumption and coverage

Actual consumption depends on the absorbency and structure of the substrate:

For a more accurate estimate of the required quantity, we recommend first treating a test area of approximately 1–2 m². This allows you to determine how much impregnation your specific facade actually absorbs.

Applying Remmers Facade Impregnation [basic] 30 Litre

Application is straightforward. The substrate should be clean, dry and free from dust. Cracks, damaged joints and other defects should be repaired before impregnation.

When applying:

• Apply pressure-free and to saturation

• Avoid fine atomisation

• Work from top to bottom

• Immediately spread the product with a brush after application

• Apply at temperatures of approximately +10 °C to +25 °C

• Treat the facade completely and evenly

• Apply at least 2 wet-on-wet coats

• Continue until the substrate no longer absorbs the product

• Use a well-saturated brush on areas that cannot be sprayed

For an even result, it is recommended to treat adjoining sections of the facade in one continuous application.

What should you pay attention to?

Adjacent surfaces, windows, doors, glass, plants and other sensitive materials should be covered or protected before application.

Protect the facade after treatment from:

• Rain

• Strong wind

• Direct sunlight

• Condensation

Important: if moisture is entering the facade due to structural or construction-related problems, these issues should be resolved first. If you are unsure whether the product is suitable for a particular substrate, it is advisable to test it on a small area first.
