Remmers Funcosil SNL is a high-quality water-repellent solution for homeowners and professionals. It penetrates deeply into porous mineral surfaces, offering long-lasting protection against moisture and dirt.

Treated façades remain cleaner for longer, prevent water ingress, and enhance thermal insulation.

Suitable substrates

Best for porous mineral surfaces, such as:

• Brickwork

• Calcium silicate brick

• Mineral render / plaster

• Aerated concrete and lightweight concrete

Commonly used for:

• Penetrating damp façades

• Chimneys

• Cleaned or sandblasted surfaces

Technical information

Funcosil SNL is a reactive siloxane solution that penetrates mineral surfaces deeply. It forms a durable, water-repellent layer without affecting vapour permeability.

Application

• Use a low-pressure sprayer or brush/roller

• Apply until the substrate is fully saturated

• Avoid misting and treat each section continuously

• Protect treated surfaces from rain for at least 5 hours

• Ideal application temperature: 5–25 °C

• Fine brickwork: min. 0.8 l/m²

• Coarse brickwork: min. 1.0 l/m²

• Smooth calcium silicate brick: min. 0.5 l/m²

• Rough calcium silicate brick: min. 0.7 l/m²

• Render: min. 0.5 l/m²

• Aerated concrete: min. 1.0 l/m²

• Wood fibre cement: min. 0.3 l/m²

• Concrete façade blocks: min. 1.2 l/m²
