The Funcosil SNW 30 liter is a premium, water-based facade impregnation solution made with silane/siloxane technology. This colorless protective treatment penetrates deeply into porous surfaces, making them permanently water-repellent while maintaining breathability. Its large 30-liter packaging makes it ideal for medium to large facade projects, offering efficiency and long-lasting protection.

Coverage per Substrate
The required amount depends on the porosity and absorption of the surface. Approximate coverage:
- Fine-pored brick: 0.8 L/m² (≈37 m² per 30 L)
- Coarse-pored brick: 1.2 L/m² (≈25 m² per 30 L)
- Smooth sand-lime brick: 0.7 L/m² (≈43 m² per 30 L)
- Rough sand-lime brick: 0.8 L/m² (≈37 m² per 30 L)
- Aerated concrete: 1.0 L/m² (≈30 m² per 30 L)
- Fine-pored natural stone: 0.8 L/m² (≈37 m² per 30 L)
- Coarse-pored natural stone: 1.7 L/m² (≈18 m² per 30 L)
Average yield is approximately 25–40 m² per 30 liters. For precise results, test a small area of 1–2 m² first.
How It Works
Funcosil SNW penetrates deeply into surface pores and creates a hydrophobic barrier. Rainwater is repelled while allowing water vapor to escape, preventing moisture problems, dirt accumulation, and frost damage. This extends the life and appearance of your facade.
Application Instructions
- Apply by flooding (low-pressure; do not spray)
- Work from top to bottom
- Apply multiple wet-on-wet layers
- Finish with a block brush
- Ideal application temperature: +10°C to +25°C
The surface must be clean, dry, and structurally sound. Repair cracks or defects beforehand.
Storage & Shelf Life
- Minimum shelf life: 12 months
- Store in a cool, dry, frost-free environment
- Use opened containers promptly

- Not suitable for polystyrene or bitumen
- Protect treated surfaces from weather during application
- Always test on a small sample area first
- For salt-containing substrates, conduct prior analysis
