The Remmers PU Garage Floor Coating in Silver Grey (RAL 7001) is a high-performance polyurethane coating designed for concrete floors exposed to heavy use. It is ideal for garages, workshops, warehouses and similar areas where durability, chemical resistance and safety are essential. This PU coating provides long-lasting protection against oil, moisture, chemicals and mechanical wear, while the subtle anti-slip texture ensures improved grip and a clean, professional finish.

Recommended Surface Preparation

For optimal adhesion and maximum service life, the use of Remmers 2K Epoxy Primer is strongly recommended. This epoxy primer seals the concrete surface, levels minor irregularities and significantly improves adhesion of the PU garage floor coating. In addition, it enhances the mechanical and chemical resistance of the complete flooring system.
The combination of 2K epoxy primer and PU garage floor coating results in a robust, long-lasting floor suitable for intensive use.

Application & Processing

Substrate
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose particles. Concrete floors must be at least 28 days old. Remove any cement laitance by light grinding or etching. Repair cracks and damaged areas beforehand.

Application

• Apply the Remmers 2K Epoxy Primer first, following the instructions

• Mix the PU garage floor coating thoroughly

• Apply evenly using a roller or brush

• Apply a second coat after the first layer has dried

Application Conditions

• Temperature: +10 °C to +25 °C

• Relative humidity: max. 80%

• Do not apply in case of rising moisture or condensation

Drying Times (approximate)

• Touch-dry: approx. 6–8 hours

• Recoatable: after approx. 12–24 hours

• Light traffic: after approx. 48 hours

• Fully loadable: after approx. 7 days
